Couple pics from NH Jr Bassmaster STQT last Sunday

Here is a picture of Jack Montgomery. He won the 11-14 age bracket and fished with Travis. Usually two kids from the same boat don't win. The boys had a chance to pre-fish together and work out a plan.
Travis has really kinda mentored Jack over the last couple of years. He has taken him out a lot on the boat and taught him a lot...especiallly about tournament preparation and tactics. Jack is a good fisherman, but like a lot of younger kids needs to work on focus and slow down his fishing. Looks like he's learning.



Here's Travis with his big (5.65 lb) LM. He is wearing his "lucky clothes"..the same ones he wore at last years STQT...So I made a deal with him before the tournament that if he won he would not have to fish any more Junior tournaments...looks like he's done!
