Arrowhead looks great on paper.Huge expanses of shoreline lillies and shallow water but underneath the water is a different story.
    Reminds me of Stumpfield ALOT!!!!
Huge expanses of milfoil in the southern part of the lake growing right to the surface.
So thick even the bass didn't seem to like it.
We caught some fish in it but they were scarce. The pickerel loved it.
You had to wade through the pickerel to get a bass.

Nothing makes you cringe more than running down the lake and watching the
the depth reading running consistently in the 2.5 - 6ft range at WOT
The milfoil is so thick that the depthfinder won't even start to penetrate it.
You literally have grow a pair and put the hammer down if you want to cover water.
After a short phone call with Pat Hannon we switched game plans and went to the Northen part of the lake and had much better fishing.Nothing bigger than 3.25 but the numbers were good and a lot less milfoil to deal with.Anyone going here should fish from the dam down to the 3/4 mi. long no-wake zone but don't go further south. The milfoil here is incredible
The log cabin we stayed in was nice but having to cross the no wake zone every day was a PIA
