Thinking of heading up to Northwood Lake soon. Not sure excactly where the boat launch is. NH fish and wildlife says its at the town beach. Also any tips, pointers?

As advice that was given to me, that I will pass on to you. I would skip Northwood Lake and go a few miles up the road to Jenness Pond. Much better fish and better fishing overall. I'm glad that I did. Good luck!
and if you do make it Northwood are you any good at skipping way under the docks ?![]()
The launch is off lake shore drive on the north side. Good fishery but the bottom can come up fast if your not paying attention.

I'm hittin it in the morning. Give ya a report later. Never been there.
I headed last weekend. Wont be hitting that lake again. Caught only two. They sprayed couple of days before I fished it. Would have like to have known earlier. Oh well. At least my line was wet.
I've always had good luck there. There's some big smallies and big Largemouth in there. If your starting early throw the top water. the smallies love it.
