Couldn't have done it without Travis, but we put together a pretty damn good day today. Only caught 5 keepers, culled out once, but it was a hell of a cull. I caught lunker smallie for the day at 4.25 lbs that culled out a 13" rat I caught earlier, had another good one, and Travis put two nice fish into the boat first thing in the morning.
4 fish limit for 12.97 lbs, with lunker, good enough for second place, and earned a nice chunk of change for that. First time I've ever finished in the money, still in shock over catching lunker too, there was a ton of damn good guys out there fishing today.
On a side note, I've NEVER fished a lake that was that choppy and windy before in my life. I didn't know how best to drive the boat through it...needless to say, I soaked the both of us pretty good a couple of times.
