1st year of Bombardier production. Should be a good motor if taken care of properly. I have been pleased with my HO of the same year. No major issues.
Mine is an 03, and I like it. Strong, reliable, sips fuel and oil compared to the carb engines. I run the xd-100 oil exclusively, and treat each tank of fuel with an additive like 2+2 fuel conditioner, Marine Stabil, or Startron. If the seller is a dealer, they should be able to pull up a report from the EMM, giving faults, and profiles for rpm,temp, etc
