Senko style baits & quad beam transducers

Hey guys I'm in Oregon right now for a wedding but all I can think about is fishing. Question for you: I know most people swear by Yamamoto senkos, but what are your thoughts on yum dingers, chompers sinking worms, bps stik-os, custom poured, etc.?

I've become a fan of yum dingers but they don't have the rootbeer w/ green copper flake color. I'm thinking of switching up.

Also, need a new transducer for my hb 778c. Thinking of getting a quad beam as opposed to the standard dual beam. Any thoughts?

I like the Venom Salty Slings but they don't have that color either.

Do the slings hold up better than senkos/flash?

Im a fan of the Yum Dingers, mostly for the price difference from the senkos and they last a bit longer. I have found that the baits that last a lot longer are made with harder plastic or rubber and during the free fall do not impart nearly as much action. I buy BBS tournament stick-Os for when the fish are biteing any plastic you throw because they last much much longer than a dinger or a senkos. But use the dingers most other times because they are still soft to give a good tail wiggle on the fall.

I think the senkos are the best. My buddie throws dingers all the time while Im throwing senkos and I useualy out fish him. I have only had a few packs of the stik-os but the worked and held up well. Would like to try some custom pours though. Not sure about the ducer.

I was tossing the BPS today. Worked for me just fine. Check out universal mania for the transducer.

The closest to Senko's for me is Gotshabaits by the Bass Angler here on the BBC Boards. He can pour any color you want. All the others I have tried are much lighter.

Kinami flash is also a good alternative. Made by the other Yamamoto brother, same molds, same material but 25% less in cost.

I get my stickbaits from a guy that custom pours anything I need. For the price you can't beat them!

Also, I'm getting the same transducer next year I've heard good things about it instead of just getting the trolling motor style that humminbird makes everyone recommended getting the transom style and buying a shield so the transducer is more protected.

I use a couple of kinds and only use the senko's where I feel it is going to make a difference like in clear open water. If the water is cloudy or I'm fishing tight to weeds or letting it fall thru tree limbs or skipping under trees into shallow water I use the other less expensive baits.
Like JimR said use on O ring and wacky style the senkos, makes them last longer.
