STUCK IN GEAR !!!!!!!!!!!

My 2008 HO is stuck in gear ! It will crank , but is stuck in forward gear , earlier it was stuck in reverse but I played with it a lil till it went into forward . Ive pulled the cowling and the shift linkage is moving , but not actually moving anything else in the LU " im guessing " !!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like something in the control box is messed up. It shouldn't start in gear. Would almost think the detente on the neutral lock out is messed up.

I'm pretty sure its in gear cuz the prop won't turn .

Guess you could take the cable loose at the motor linkage and verify.

Would problems with the control box be covered under warranty ?

had this happen to my 07 150 E-TEC. problem was in the control box, is yours a single
handle mine was, there is a cam that changes from throttle to shift and that was defective. control box does not have the same warranty as the motor
