one of the guys in Bubba Bassin posted some pics on our forum of Big Island Pond with a decent amount of open water. If the weather holds with warmer temps through the weekend like they're forecasting, I would expect that to open up a good amount more.
The Piscatisquog (sp) River at Kelley St. Bridge in Manchester has opened up real good. Two weeks ago the were running snowmobiles on it. Now you can run a boat!

With the very warm weather we'll be getting this weekend, I expect we'll see this list start to grow, and have some guys in here get very antsy....
nothing really happening up my way. The Bennington Bog is getting free from the shore and there is open pockets in the middle. I believe this will be the first open around me but the others follow quickly.
Things should start to open up rapidly this week, especially through the weekend. Upper 40's to low 50's the rest of the week, with what looks to be a good amount of rain fall this weekend. That little pond in my back yard is almost clear, about 70% clear right now. I expect it'll be clear before the weekend, and with a good couple of sunny days, followed by some warm weather and rain, I may have the first open water fish of the year for myself.
Curious to know what else will be opening up soon. Potanipo in Brookline usually opens up early, but it is usually accompanied by high water, and launching beside that damn with high water sucks!
Bennington Bog is really opening up fast. I drove by this morniing and there was a stretch of open water about 50-60yrds long. this afternoon on the way home it must have been 4-6 hundred yrds long. It went from one shore to the other. This weekend full of rain is only going to help our cause.
