Glad to hear you are having a good time. Didn't you bring your boat? Sorry I can't help you out. All my sun lotion is beyond the expired date. You'll just have to wear a sun brurn and be proud.

I just moved to TX from Salem, NH and if you haven't seen a lake the likes of Falcon it is in a word ...intimidating! I spent 5 days down there last year and it is every bit as good as it is made out to be. I assume that once you make the first pilgimage you'll keep coming back until you land that 10lb wall hanger. 10 lbs is nice but i sure do miss them smallies.

I'm Back......and what the hell is this white stuff????!!!! Falcon, like Ed said was very humbling, just in the way that reservoir lakes can be, the wood, the stained water, the algae blooms and the changing water levels. But that is what I like about these trips the chalenge of new water and the techniques that the locals use help to hone your skills, and you think that you have alot of tackle then they tell you to put on an all red spinnerbait and you scratch your head and start pulling jigs apart ... more to come got to go

Fishing in some of those Texas resevoirs is definitely a challenge.
The terrain, water depths, and types of cover are extremely different than up here.

tyler when are you going to come down and go to Choke w/ me? Ray is coming the end of May and the 2 of us are going to go out to either Choke or Amistad w/ Skeeter Mark. If we go to Choke I could use an extra set of hands to feed Ray to the resident 'gators. Keep up the support w/ Mike and we will all fish together soon.
