    Boat update

Russ (lunchman) came over today and in about 90 minutes, we had the seats out of the boat. We took out the batteries, oil tank and the charger. The tank just lifted out and we had access to the 3 bolts that held the back of the bench seat in.

I'll post some pictures when the new seats arrive. I'll do a before and after thing for ya.

My boat won't be in the water the first few days at the Rally. I can hear you guys now. I plan on going off to other lakes this year. Seats should look real nice though. It will NEVER be as clean as Al's.

    Re: Boat update (xltrod)

I've ordered a heavy duty steam cleaner to help me clean out the gas tank compartment. I'll probably get into it next weekend. Tomorrow I'll be packaging up the seats to send them off for reupolstering on Monday. As of Tuesday, they had been out of the boat for 10 days and they were still damp. I didn't want to dry them fast and cause them to tighten up and make matching the snaps a little off. This is gonna be a fun winter. I'm hoping tit amkes it go by faster.
