The New Hampshire House of Reps will be getting House Bill 847 this month, maybe as early as the middle of January. There is an amendment changes it to only affect Lake Winnipesaukee and puts a 3 year sunset clause on it, stating it will be revisted in 3 years for validity.
There will be no more public hearings until the Senate Committe holds a public hearing, probably in the Feb/March time frame. In the meantime you need to continue to contact your local representatives (http://www.gencourt.state.nh.us/ns/w...eg/default.asp).
And we will need your support at the Senate hearing.
The Department of Safety issued this findings document on speed on Winnipesaukee. Clearly from this document a speed is not needed. Please read
