Swains Lake 6/29/06

I was feeling sick early this mornin so I figured what better way to make myself feel better than to go and WET SOME LINES.

I called a friend of mine and we ended going to Swains Lake here in New Hampshire.

It started out slow but then it did pick up.
All in all we had a pretty good day

My catch was, 1 smallie and 6 largemouth the heaviest being a 3.4 largemouth

My friend caught 5 largemouth

My friend's partner caught 9 total and his heaviest was,,,,5.3 largemouth

I caught my fish early and It WAS the biggest fish caught so far BUT then my friends partner had to show me what a BIG on looks like

Sounds like a good trip! Any day fishin is better than work. What town is Swains lake in?

I am glad you did well there. I have done well there in the past but don't care for the Lake.

Swain's used to be a pretty good lake, but the parking won't allow a club to fish there. Behind the island and also by and under the small bridge can produce some good catches.
