Heading to Table Rock this Saturday

I am headed down to Table Rock starting this Saturday and all of next week. I did hire a local guide for Sunday morning so we will see what that brings. I will post those results as soon as I can. We are staying in the Kimberling City area.

Just wondering if there are any reports of what is going on this week? I did see there have been some storms running through the area most of the week. Saw on another forum that top water action appeared to slow last week, however saw on a recent post that it could be picking up a bit.

Hoping someone has a current report that you could share with me.

A Carolina rig with a french fry or ring worm will probably be your best bet. Fish in 20 to
30 feet of water. Or, if you don't mind catching smaller fish, throw a green spinnerbait
with 1-gold, and 1-copper willow leaf blade in the flooded timber. Throw it as close to the
bank as you can and crash through as much cover as possible. The key is to actually
bump the cover with the spinnerbait. You can also catch some nice smallies right now,
throwing a hula grub parallel to the old water line. The last time I was out, which was a
week ago today, the main lake points were the best.
Some secondary points produced but all our bites came right on
the point or no more than a hundred yards either side of it.
