Fish points, at night, and a couple hundred yards either side of the points, with texas
rigged salt craws, a jig "n frog, or a big black single spin spinnerbait. (a BIG colorado
blade is best). If you're afraid of the dark, get up early to catch the schoolers on top
water, then carolina rig the flats when it gets hot. LOTS of fish to be caught in the
Shell Knob area. Been fishin' it for over 30years. If you have a quality graph you can
find the Kentuckys bunched up and do the drop shot trick and hammer 'em. Good luck!!
hey Steve whats the water Clarity and water level like now down there
Depends where you go Luke. Right now the Cape Fair area is very dingy. As always down by the dam is pretty clear. Steve can tell us how it is around Shell Knob but usually its decent. Last I saw on level was 927 and change--
Honestly, the water color in the Shell Knob, Campbell Point, Big Creek area is the best
I have ever seen it. Its mostly clear but has a green tinge to it. Its perfect for throwing
a spinner bait, top water or crank bait. Sick 'em guys, the bite is on!! The water level
did not come up as much as I thought it would after last week's rains, so it should still
be around 12-13 feet high. In fact it actually came down a little bit yesterday.
im thinkin i might head down there around the Aunts Creek area the end of this month or so and do a little fishin any of you been in that area?
I work in the Kimberling area and usually if we need to go test run a boat we'll put in at Ahoy's. Water there looks great but I haven't been able to fish. I would say Aunts creek would look very similar
I caught some pretty good fish last week in kings river on a 10in power worm..
Hey guys, I'll be at the Crow's Nest on Indian Point the week after July 4th. We stay up the cove from Tonka Bay Marina. I have an 11 year that loves catching Bass. Any great spots around there?

Lots of great spots around Indian Point, but you'll have to fish at night or get up with the
chickens to catch any fish. Indian Point is the busiest place on the lake around the 4th of
July. I avoid it like the plague. If you want to burn some gas.......take a 30 minute boat
ride up the main White River arm, then stop and fish any point. If you go early you and
your 11 year old can catch schoolers on top....that's always a blast. After that, it gets too
hot to fish pretty quick on Table Rock.
