hamlin lake

Anyone fished this lately? i'm heading their this weekend and any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have fished Hamlin for the last few years, but not yet this year...sorry. Youll find lots of weeds in upper and more sand and drop offs in lower. you should catch alot of bass but they wont be too big. There used to be monsters in there but Hamlin had a huge blow out from flood waters and we all say the same thing " its just not the same" the big fish have not surfaced in two years???

Its a beautiful lake, great sand dunes, and the state park is top notch!! pack a lunch, go over to the state park and swim, you can pull your boat right up to the state park. Good place to use the potty also if need be.... Good luck
