Flats report for Larry and Goose 4/7

Fished the Northeast/Flats on Wed.

Water temps were 56 at 6:30 a.m and warmed up to 65 by 1:30. Calm in morning, wind picked up to about 10-12 by noon.
Water in the Northeast is still stained from the rains, flats area is regular color.

Bite today came on the flats, no moving baits , could not get bit in the Northeast . Didn't find them till late morning, then all they would hit was jig type baits dragged slow.
2 - 6 feet, rocky bottom.

Boated about a dozen, missed 4 - 5 more. Water is warming fast with this sunshine.

Caught a few fish Sunday afternoon. Caught one small fish, maybe 12" up near 95 brdg. Caught two decent fish on right side of Funace Bay. One was 17.5" and the other was 15.5". That was after another guy had just left and said he had caught 2 dinks. I always feel pretty good when I catch fish behind someone else.
