At least it was not raining cats and dogs and buckets of water! But the wind, well, that was great if you had a sailboat. I fished a team tournament today, 22 two man teams and me a team of just one..... hmmmm, what does this mean?! Anyway, I stayed close to Anchor marina all day and fished the rip rap and guts. I got three decent fish, a 3 lbs 12 ouncer, a 2 lbs 10 ounce and a 1 lbs 9 ouncer. Got the two on a shakey head I made with a 4 inch cut tail of a weird color I created quite by accident (mixed a lot of left over plastic together). The 2 10 came on a crank bait off the rip rap. The big one also came off the rip rap in front of the gut. The water was muddy. I finished seventh and would have been better had not two of my fish died. Something must have gotten into one of my live wells because it looked like it was filled with suds. I have no idea what happened or why but I cleaned it our when I got home and there were not suds at all. Maybe it was the fish.
