Not really a report, but if you're after Muskies on this lake, check out http://www.icemansguideservice...shtml.
This is , believe it or not, one of the HOTTEST Muskie lakes in the midwest right now. It also has some pig green fish too.
me and my dad were at webster last week and as soon as we got there it started storming so we had to leave and when we were leaving i saw a muskie jump and its got me itching to go catch one..does anyone know the chances of me going there with my bass fishing outfits and getting onto a muskie...if i threw a spinnerbait would i have a chance of getting one...i have never caught one before and have heard they can really fight...and when is the best time to give it a try...any suggestions would be very helpful...thanks josh
Lots of Muskies are caught on bass tackle, generally by accident. Just use the heaviest stuff you've got, like a flippin' stick and at least 20# line (most muskie guys use 50-80 braid) The most important thing is to use a good steel leader of about 12". Also be prepared to trash a bass spinnerbait after 1-2 fish. Bass tackle can handle them, but they'll work you over pretty good. Webster is the best chance in IN of catching one also. Good luck.![]()
thanks alot cant wait to give it a try
