10-4-05 Fished both the Indiana & Kentucky sides of the River near Jeffersonville & Louisville from 4 PM to 7:30 PM.

Air temperature 86 degrees, no wind and sunny.

Water temperature 79 degrees.

Water level appeared to be normal and there was a very slight current. Water clarity was clear (for the river). The river has been the clearest and the prettiest green I can remember it ever being this summer.

There was an abundance of shad activity everywhere we went.

We caught several fish and had activity the entire trip. Fish were caught on rock banks, around lay downs or poles in 1 foot to 10 feet of water. We did not measure any fish but might have had 2 keepers. Probably caught at least a dozen including a few smallmouth. Fish were being caught on worms, jigs and shallow running crankbaits.
