The water is still about 60-65 degrees and clear to slightly stained. Last year, I came in 2nd in our club tournament the second weekend in December throwing green pumpkin Zoom baby brush hogs. I had 4 keepers that weighted 12.2 # with a 5.6# big fish. All fish were caught in less than 5 foot of water. Normally I use a Texas rig and fish the GP or watermelon candy brush hog all year long. On that tournament I was in the back of the boat and had to use a C-rig. If you find clearer water and it is sunny, you can not beat watermelon candy. If it is stained to muddy, use the green pumpkin.
If they are not hitting the brush hog, try the 6 inch or 8 inch Zoom dead ringer in green pumkin or the Zoom U-tale in watermelan candy. Ed
