    Walk-in-Water

Anyone been latley? I'm thinking about going Monday, and was wondering how the water level is. Is there any problem launghing? I don't mind if I have to bo out by trolling motor, but I don't really want to have to push it out.

Now now Rick! Give it a try! Rick is right. Granted it had been windy as hell for three days straight because walk in water is usually very clear. That said, the water is EXTREMELY shallow. Once you get out in the lake your fine, but the boat dock is almost unuseable due to water depth. I would stay over at Kissimmee.

Well I've got a club tourney there in 3 weeks, so that's why I was thinking of going (probably be my only practice). If it's that low we may have to move it. We usually have avout 35-40 boats. Last year it was real pain, I don't know if it's lower than last year or not. It's funny my club keeps putting it on the schedule, but since the hydrilla is gone, it doesn't fish good at all.

Nothing fishes good for you Chuck!! LOL Just Kidding. Yeah I agree, I will be talking to Tom. We should move it. Kissimmee sounds like a better bet or even Tarpon since our last one there was cancelled.

    Re: Walk-in-Water (Rodney)

I went on Monday, and if we don't move Yall can have fun without me. It was a real pain putting in getting out. Even if there was hydrilla I don't think it would be worth with 30-40 boats. HTe water is pretty muddy and those few points and islansd of buggywhips tht have some water, I think have been beaten todeath. Fished 6 hours and landed on 2 small fish and missed 2 more. Tom and Clay are suppose to be going sometime this weekend and making a call. Kiss or Tarpon will be fine with me. Tarpon Mark and I can almsot always catch a limit even though it mayonly weigh 7-8lbs.
