We have a tripped plan to Toho in the first week in Feb. and was wondering what to expect. Any tips and tactics sure would be appreciated. I've never fished that part of the country before. Thanks for any advice.

Hydrilla is thick right now. Pre-spawn and some spawn will be active if you want to go bed hunting. Crank and jerk baits around hydrilla walls. Flip watermelon or junebug craws and worms in the kissimmee grass and hang on! Flip w/braided line. Lots of folks cash checks dead sticking senkos or flukes in the grass if you get tired of flipping.
