Im probably not the one to ask, since I got skunked when we had our BBC tx on the Tsala Apopka Chain last year.. (Same body of water as Hernando I think?? Just a little further south?) But it was very cold when we were there.. Anyway, if I recall, the water was super clear and the word goin round was to try watermellon/red soft plastics.. I got one keeper in practice on a shakee jig w/finess worm.. Color was pumpkinseed.. If you can get Ed, George, or Jazz to spill some info they can point ya in the right direction! They live on that chain I believe!

throw a frog early in the grass and junbug senko later. I caught 16 a couple of weeks ago on them to things, but they all were small.
