    Hey Cman,,,1993 200 Johnnie

I am looking at buying a 1993 200 Johnson (VJ200SLETF) and it has a piston locating pin problem(came out) that affected #2 cylinder. What causes it and is there a fix to prevent it? Thanks, Art

First year of the closed deck block and the "F" has adjustable idle jets. Fix is to replace the carb drain plugs to the new style to prevent a lean out and add an new HS orifice in the #2 carb that is two sizes larger to help with the cooling. Is it solid or broke? That was a transition year and not one of my favs. But that is just me.
