Night Tournament Accident on Hamilton!

Just heard about this a little earlier. Anybody know who was involved??

for the injured and families of the other two!

3:30am-- Lake Hamilton Boat Colision

Garland County Sheriffs are investigating a boating accident off of Lake Hamilton this morning. It happened around 10 last night, near Hamilton Point just west of Fisherman’s Wharf when two boats collided with each other killing at least two people and injuring two others. Sheriffs officials say all four individuals were participating in a local fishing tournament and that poor visibility might have played a part in the collision. "Both were in motion... unable to determine where each boat was at... Looked like one boat just hit the other and jumped over it," said Lt. Rodney Neighbors. The boats have been transported to game and fish. The investigation is still on going. We'll have more information tonight at five and six.

Could have been an "accident", HOWEVER more than likely someone was doing something that shouldn't had been doing.....Sad day...

From what little info I have heard, it was a legitimate accident. The drivers were supposedly confused by the amount of lights on the water. It is a sad incident regardless of the cause.

Yes it was, and you are correct from what i have heard as well...it was a light confusion...

Very sad...but most of the time...ignorance is to blame!
