Wow!! Thats the best way to describe todays tournament. We had a moderate turnout with 14 teams but the fish showed up and man what a weigh in, 12 teams weighed in, the average bag was 9.72lbs, 43 fish caught and 147.32lbs total. The team of Pierce/Langston brought five to the scales 18.57lbs taking first place and getting a check for $1005.00. Rice/Jones took second by less than a little over a pound with 17.50lbs and a check for $390.00. Evans/Beatty weighed in a 6.73lb black but were quickley moved out of the big bass slot with the team of Heromax/McNiel weighing in a black for 7.05lbs, taking the top spot in the Jewel Big Bass Payout, a $2000.00 bonus if they maintain their position the rest of the 2008 regular season. I'd like to thank all that participated in todays tournament and hope that we can see the field grow and increase the competition. I invite all anglers to come fish with us and experience the thrill of seeing these teams battle for the top spot in the series. Our next tournament is March 15th at Pendelton, see you there!!
