Well it was a sorry week for fishing as a whole. Cold front came in, winds were blowing everyday. I caught a few bass on C-rigs, jerk baits, and cranks baits in 6-8 ft of water off points. Also caught some crappie on the points but all in all the fishing was tough. Should have picked a different week to take vacation.
You definetly picked a bad time to take off a week to fish!
Yeah we had a tourney on Greeson last sat. Fun fishing in that mess thurs fri and sat. I wouldn't have been if it wasn't for tourney. would have been good time to spend with wife.........
Fished a Team Tourney on Dierks Saturday and caught 8 fish for 21.68. Had two Blacks that were over 5lbs and the rest were really fat Spots. We never go any further north than Jefferson Ridge. The early bite was on crankbaits the rest of the day was on spinnerbaits. We caught 25 to 30 fish all day. We ended up winning the Tournament by 6 lbs.
