Making a road trip this weekend and trying to figure out where I want to go. Anyone heard anything on Monticello lately.

I was down there for a little while Friday, water temps started out at 51* and when I took out at noon (probably should of stayed longer) they were up to around 52.7 or so. I did spend a minute or two cruising along the back of a creek checking out water temps and to see if any males were up looking for bedding areas and did find water up to 53.8 and only saw one bass cruising. From the guys I talked to out there I wasnt the only one that didnt do any good. I think that little cold snap at the end of the week probably dropped the temps a little. I'd be willing to bet after this warm week that they should be starting to turn on by the weekend.

It's getting crazy down here! Double digits being broke left and right. Had about 200 boats on the lake each day this weekend. Better get here before all their mouths are sore!

ya I was down there Saturday, just about could walk across the water from boat to boat!! If you found a fish on a bed you had to take a number to try and catch it We caught some fish, but no big ones to speak of, just some nice 4-5lb fish. Ran across Skeeterman1 down there, he got a NICE one that I am sure we will be seeing pic's of soon... Be afraid Roger Rose.. be very afraid.. I wont say how big it was, dont want to steal Brads thunder

That fish is always going to have memories. Was dropping it off at taxidermist yesterday and some drunk decided to pass the cars in front of it while I was turning left. After about 60 foot we stopped in the taxi's front yard. Daughter was not with us thank goodness. Wife and I are ok, she's pretty sore. Car's gone, Fish survived though.... and made it there in one piece. The person that hit us got their DWI 4. Nice to know they get that many chances........

Wow, glad none of you were bad hurt! No excuse for someone with 3 DWI's to be driving, heck as far as that goes why the heck arent they in jail. Guess it will take them killing some innocent person before that happens
