Club Tournament - Norkfork - 12/16/06

Fishing was not near as good at you think it should have been.

Fished our last club tournament of the year yesterday at Lake Norfork and it took 11lbs to win and I came in Second with just under 9lbs! Not a great day on the water. Wind was blowing and it was cloudy, but the fish just wouldn't bite!

I caught 1 keeper Kentucky on a Jerkbait, 1 Kentucky on a Jig under a dock, and 3 keeper blacks on a Wiggle Wart! Took all day to get those 5 keepers. I probably caught 12-15 short fish and one walleye too. The kid that won caught all his fish on a FLUKE in less than 5 ft of water!! Can you believe that....... Said he had been catching them all week over there that.... Good fish too!!!

Fishing was tougher than I thought it would be yesterday!!! Thats fishing though, them fish don't always get the memo during the week to bite on the weekends!
