Fished Friday only...
On the second cast of the day, my dad caught a 5.56 pounder
We weighed that in on the 3rd or 4th hour, for $500
That was the only keeper we caught...but it was fun
I'll be back next year...and prepared to fish all three days
None of my buddies placed at all..........very unusual........most of the time, at least two or three cash checks.......oh, well.......

That was tough fishing. My buddy, who I thought sure would cash a check zeroed all three days. I had a pretty good Horny Toad thing going all day long in matted stuff, but couldn't hook up with a lot of them. Miss a fish on a frog=small fish. The big ones usually mean business when they commit.

Just found out last night in a post Aaron made that we were 33rd overall
It was tough fishing for sure...
After that one 5.56 lb bass, we couldn't get a bite
Caught a total of about 6 fish the whole day with that being the only keeper....
For the first 15-20 minutes, they were tearing a buzzbait up for us, but after that we tried everything everywhere and they just had lockjaw
Oh well, I'll be back next year ready to take home the 100 grand
