I went and fished Norfork yesterday. PreFishing for TX. I caught 13 Keeper bass (15 in Limit) from 9:30 to 5pm. Two of the keepers were 16 inch Spots. 11 were largemouth, not a single smallmouth. The bass all were in the outer third of the stained water pockets. Fish were caught with boat in from 12 to 20 feet of water paralleling the bank (mostly where chunk rock breaks to pea rock) throwing a faded craw (Rebel) medium diver. 2 fish were caught on Jerk bait (suspending Rogue) but crankbait was far better. I fished the Red Bank arm and Bennett Arm mainly. No fish came out of the clearer water, did not fish it that hard. Largest Black was 3.5 lbs and came in probably 5 ft of water on crank mentioned above. Water temp in Pockets (Northern) was 52 to 54 mainly. Not a tremendous day, but not bad either. Lake has good quality bass in it now, or it seems to me. Warmer h20 temps will make for better fishing, I can't wait to try again in a couple of weeks. Good Fishing, Roger
