I agree completly with you on being very carful at night. I was running about 100yds from the boat that was hit, and they did have there lights on i know for a fact because as i was cumming outta Fleet Harbor they passed me then about 500yds later we hear the loudest bang i have ever heard and then looked over and seen the bottom of the boat that hit the Hunts boat, one thing that really bothered me about all of it was the guy that hit the Hunts boat never stopped to see what he hit or anything, he went straight to he boat ramp. I will say that i did not see any other boat around with any lights on when we both came outta Fleet Harbor. I know that my night fishing will be done with lots more caution, and think any boat on the water at night should have headlights along with regular navigation lights. We all need to keep both the Hunts and the Lewis family in out prayers because i know if i had been the one who hit the Hunts boat i would be out of my mind.

That's awful.
I have enjoyed fishing and even napping around the Edges of Smith lake at night.
No lights necessary I thought, because I was just off the Cliffs, and nobody would be running fast in there.
I've been nearly run over from behind by a fast moving bass boat.
The Shoreline is 'lit up' with lights so even if you had lights sometimes your boat dont look any different than somebody's dock lights a long way off.
I think the answer is going to be Flashing blue or amber LED's all over the Gunn'ls.
