if you dont mind the lack of ritziness,we always stay at the motel 6 on on 411.its about a mile from the launch on the opposite side of the river.its not fancy, but it has the best boat parking out of all of them to the leftside, and the best food in town at top of the river on the right side.its cheapthe ramp is accross the river on 278/431 right behind the dollar general.

Motel 6 has gone way down, I think they got some new owners and I talked to several people that stayed there for the Federation State Champ. and they said it was awful (it's cheap though). Probably the best place (not exactly the cheapest) is Gadsden Downtown Inn & Suites. It's by far the closest to the ramp and the safest, they have video camera's all over the parking lots. There is a Super 8 just a mile or so past the Motel 6 on Rainbow Dr., it's fairly nice and has parking room for 20 to 30 boats.
