    Pickwick?

Me and a buddy are plenning a trip in March below Pickwick. Was looking for any help on what and where we might get on some good smallmouth. Just community holes would be fine. We fish Wilson and Wheeler mostly but wanted something new.

    Thanks,
    Brad

People are tight lipped on pickwick spots. I'll send you an IM.

It sure is man. I have never seen anything like it in all my tournament fishing. We got people in our club that will sit at blast off until everyone else leaves and then go to their spot. I have one or two spots I keep to my self, but heck, there's usually a co-angler with me. Pickwick is just a HARD lake on some days. But I really love it.

We ended up fishing Wilson last Monday and Tuesday since my partner works 3rd shift and couldnt get off work We fished Shoal Creek both days and killed them with numbers not size. I caught every fish I had on my football head shakey head and a tiy beaver from BPS, the bigest fish of the day was about 3lbs. but for the two days we caught about 40 fish. THey were caught anywhere from 3ft of water to 15ft all did come off wood.

Yeah and that fishery is another fav of ED LOL. But that lakes breaks 2 ways for starters, 1) current 2) no current and that makes or beaks holes on that lake. If your like my partner, we run west till you hit milfoil, lake kind of becomes less current dependant down by the MS line.

Well, didn't get to fish my tourney. My mom had what we thought was a stroke, but thank the lord it was just Transient Global Amnesia. ??? Yeah, that's what I said. But she is fine now. 14lbs won the tourney though, I have no idea where or what technique.
