I have a tournament at Lake Martin 9/23/06 and need some help finding fish. I've never been there before but was told it fishes like Lake Lanier.
Ive never fished Lanier but your looking at 2 to 10 foot visability depending on where your fishing at. The bottom end is very clear. Ive had good sucess on shad colored C/B and flukes. Spot stickers and C/R also work well on the islands and points in junebug and green pumpkin. Martin has no grass so dont worry about finding any, mostly wood and deep points. You just have to keep moving til you find them, good luck

light line and as said the water is clear more like 10 to 15 ft. points and drop off have been good to me. But have not fish it as much as before we moved.
