Shimano Curado 100D Gears

I have a 100D that is getting to the point where the gears are starting to wear. I just did a thorough cleaning and it has improved but it is still noticeable. Looking at the Shimano website it does not appear that they are selling new pawl and main gears for this reel. Does anyone know if other gears will work and if they are can this reel be speed up? Thanks.

I called Shimano about a spool for a 200D a few weeks ago, they don't service those reels anymore. They told me to call Southwest Parts and Service in Dallas. www.southwesternparts.com is their website. They couldn't help me with a spool, but maybe they will have what you need.

There are no 100D gears remaining. If you stumble on one it will certainly cost you, especially a pinion. Main gears can sometimes be found but pinions are rarer than rare. Dan
