Rod Builders - Recycle parts off broken rods?

My partner is an expert at breaking rods. It's his true calling. That said is there any call for the parts, like guides, tips and handles? Seem a waste just to discard these (I have 4 partial ALL STAR's downstairs).

    Just wondering...

Normally the guides, tip, and maybe a hook keeper are the only things that can be saved. The grip and seat usually need to be cut to be removed.
