how often are you using sea foam?

I used sea foam the other day for my new/used boat. How often should I be using this product and at what ratio? Is it ok to use w/ sea brite enzyme formula? Thanks.

I never use Seafoam, I use either Stabil Marine formula, or Starbrite Starton. I run XD-50 and decarb once a year.

Engine tuner. Only BRP stuff at the shop. Except 2+4 conditioner that is good stuff too.

how are you using the product? Are you letting it sit for 16 hours ( i think that is what they recommend)? What are the exact steps you are using???

I just decarbed my motor using Engine Tuner. I followed the instructions and everything was fine. I sprayed the entire can into the carbs and let it sit overnight. Took it to the lake the next morning and ran it hard. Make sure you don't decarb on your driveway because it will stain your drive. It also produces a lot of smoke while your decarbing. Try not to breath the stuff either.

I'd like to know more as well. I'm new to boats and was thinking of running seafoam in my 05 rude HO after my first trip in the spring.

If it was me I would run XD100 & not have to decarb at all. However I defer to the wisdom of Championman cos he is closer to the real world knowledge of thes things than I am.
