In line spinners

I just started to make some inline spinners (rooster tails) and I am having problems trying to tie the hair to cover the treble hook. Can anyone please help me get started or explain how to attach the hair. I have tried with my thread and hair by watching some videos but for some reason I am not catching it. Also I have seen some people tie the hair to the treble hook. Which way would it be easier? The treble hook or to the wire?

I always tied it to the treble, personally. With a solid fly vise, it's a piece of cake unless you're tying reeeaaallyy small spinners

They are 1/16 and 1/8 oz

I would just tie to the treble and then put them on the spinners IMO

Of course he's tying alot bigger than you would need, but you get the idea
