Matzuo jig hooks any good?

Any of you guys use the Matzuo jig hooks on your football head jigs? Just wondering if they are any good or not. Thanks.

I've used them, mostly on 1/8 oz. and smaller. No problems with them

I've used the lite wire 90 degree sickle jig hooks, in 2/0-4/0. You need to pre-screen. I had a pkg of 2/0 that were mostly rejects, twisted.

I had some rejects as well. Good hooks but you got. To examine each one and that is a pain.

I've had pretty good luck with the sickle bends from size 6 all the way up through 4/0, the red finish seems to be the ones I get the most rejects out of, but they are cheap and wicked sharp! I've had great success fishing them as well.

FWIW: all the matzu hooks I have had, were the black chrome. The batch of 2/0's were replaced by supplier. Still get the occasional twisted one, so pre-screen. Reject rates seem higher than others I use, mustad, eagle claw, gama.
