I've been wanting to post this hear just haven't had the time. I finally got the home in order. I build this rod like 10+ years ago. It's my prised possesion for fishing equipment.
It's a 6' GLoomis C723, pistol grip, Gold Fuji eye's, each eye has 3 differant color regular threads, then finished on each with a tinsle thread. It also has a Oak reel seat and a down threading knob for the reel which is gold also. I don't remember what type of cork it was but it was a special type. It still hasn't cracked or chipped.
I do fish this rod, so it's perfect to the eye but it is to me.
