    WHAT'S the best way to keep your reel tight?

    what's a trick to keep your reel tight on your reel seat?

    Just check them once and a while if you tighten seats with a metal hood over the reel foot too tight, you could distort the hood and not be able to get it to hold the reel tight after that. I just keep mine tightend by hand.
