Any reports on the 1.5 blanks?

Anyone tried the 1.5 blanks out yet? I ordered some a while ago, but have had trouble with the shipping process. I haven't yet received them, but I know that some of you have had them for a little while. I was just curious who has used them and if they run true. I have been IMPATIENTLY waiting for mine to arrive so I can paint a couple and test them out.

I purchased 2 1.5 DRS models for testing. The 2 I had ran absolutely perfect. Nice wobble, straight. It deflects perfect. I'll buy more. I put on size 6 gamas and an oval split ring to tie to.

Caught about 6 or 7 fish during testing.

If you go the e-bay route with the same vendor you can probably get them for $2
All his stuff is A-1 quality
His 1.5's are also different from from the others you see. Slightly wider w/2 steel rattles and a cleaner blank.

So out of 10 blanks that you order........how many bad ones do you get?

Just an update... I painted and cleared 3 of the 1.5 blanks this week and tested them out yesterday/today. They worked great!

I will say that the lure bodies from http://unpaintedlures.com/Lure_Bodies.html are the best that I have seen, no uneven seems or messy glue lines. These blanks are top notch for sure!!

I have gotten some of the 1.5's from bustinbassbaits.com and one of the megabass knockoffs in the shallow runner. The ones i have painted then tested in my swimming pool have tracked well.

Got 10 from Bustin. 4 out of the 10 have sticking or stuck rattles. I didn't waste my time painting them. I've tested 3 of the others and they ran good. Tried the megebass cyclon and it ran well too but I've only tried 1 of the 5 so far. I'm disapointed in the 1.5's and call BS on them being OEM.

Can someone tell me what size oval split ring, hook split rings and size hook to get with the bustingbass 1.5s. Lc rc1.5s come with size 4 hooks and weights 1/2 oz but the bustingbass 1.5 weights 1/4. Do all the split rings and hooks weight 1/4? Pizz, I see you said #6 gammies. Was that on the bustingbass or the other knockoff listed on this page. I looked at those also and they said they were 1/2 oz. You guys that are using the bustingbass 1.5, still like them or have anything else to say about them. Is the belly ring sideways much different? Thanks for yalls help.
