Rod Finish and Epoxy

Getting into the craft and was wondering if there is a prefered brand of finish and epoxy that you use.

Any pluses and minuses apreciated

I use Flex Coat, does a nice two coat application, but you have to get the mix just right 1:1, very critical. Buy the starter kit that comes with syringes, makes it easier.

they all have their little quirks, but most the name brands are good. i prefer thread master lite (2 coats), but you can't really go wrong with any of them. As mentioned - absolutley get the syringes and be extra attentive to measuring and mixing. I mix until i think its mixed and then mix it for 2 more minutes. It will spare you the pain of stripping never-drying finish off a build.
