    Ok guys???

I have tons of question and Im sure there will be more
    Painting Lures:
-how long till you can put the next color on after the base coat
-How do you guys clean out your guns (I ran the clearner thru it after i painted and there was still lots of paint in there, i did it a few more times then used a paper towel to clean the rest)
-do you have to clean the gun out completely when switching colors
-can I use clear coat out of a spray can to clear my lures

Thanks Guys!!!! I will post Pics of my set-up later.

    1. Get you a hairdryer and heatset each coat. You will be able to tell when it is dry. This will make everything much faster for you.

    2. While I am painting I just shoot pure water through the gun to clean it. That is if you are using waterbased paints which I am sure that you are. After I am finished painting I tear the gun down and wash it good with soapy water then dry and relube the gun

    3. You need to get most of the paint out of it. Just get all you can out of the paint cup then backflush the brush by holding your finger over the tip while pressing and pulling back the trigger and that should be fine. Put your next color in and spray it a little to ensure the color is flowing correctly and that there is no water in your tip. Splattered paint is not fun at all if you are not intending it to splatter

    4. I am going to say no. I have never seen a rattle can clear that will be waterproof and hold up to abuse....I may be wrong about this.....

Look for devcon 2 ton "30 min" epoxy. I buy mine on e-bay or tower hobby in big bottles. But I fill syringes to make perfect 50/50 batch mixs.

Yes, I mix it up using a little jeweler scale that I bought on ebay ($20). I save Popcans clean the bottom with Denatured Alcohol, perfect mix everytime!
