I use an Ultra-fine Sharpie pen for signing my baits. Then I seal with U-40 color preserver to prevent the epoxy topcoat from making the Sharpie ink run.

what is U40? And where can you get it?!
I use a ultra fine sharpie also. I clear with devcon and don't have problems with it running. Just make sure its dry!
