who makes shakey heads with screw locks

I pour my own, but this last run used the hitchhikers as screw locks because that is all the BPS had at the time. They look great, but when I used them it was another story. Caught a fish and the flimsy spring bent all outta shape and became nonusable after a few fish. Has anyone used the Do-It ss screw lock inserts? Are they sturdier/better than the hitchhikers? I would even be willing to trade the hikers for some.

I use the Do-It screw locks in mine and like them. I can't compare as I haven't used the hitchhikers before. But I've had no problems at all with the screw locks from Do-It.

put it this way, the hikers were about as sturdy as a pen spring.

I use the DO-IT coils and havent had any problem with them!

been there/done that Derek...........Hitch Hikers will break every time

gotta use the stainless steel Do-It brand screw locks...........tough as, well.....steel
