These jigs are built on gamakatsu blk nkl needle points. My opinion is that they are sooooo much better than the standard Mustad hook most jigs carry. Penetration with them is excellent and I have not rolled a point over in 5 years or so fishing with them. My original test jig caught 200+ fish over 2lbs without rolling, then I lost it. The skirts are livin Image which I think are the most vibrant colors out there.
