    Clear coat?

I have some Luckycrafts that are a matte finish and I would prefer the gloss finish. What is the best way to accomplish this? I'm not a lure builder and don't want anything fancy, just want a gloss finish.

    Thanks, Johnny

The matte finish on Luckys is kind of weird. It is extremely sensitive to solvent, particularly lacquer thinner. The gloss finish not so much. If you want to keep the factory paint and just gloss it up a bit, I would try a clear acrylic finish. You can get decent quality ones from auto parts stores. I am kind of partial to Dupli-color. Btw, I love the matte finish on Luckys.

Devcon 2 ton epoxy. You can thin it down a bit with a couple drops (and I do mean a couple) of acetone.
