    createx ?

hey guys i have been painting a few baits with my taxidermy paints which paint fine. I wanted to go a little brighter and wilder so i bought createx paints from hobby lobby. As i started to paint it was really hard to clean from the gun and kinda thick. i used the cereatex thinner and it immediatly gummed up in the gun. what am i doing wrong? thanks in advance for the help.

Not sure why it gummed up?? I use straight water with createx when I need to and it works fine. If you are shooting pearls or floresent colors, they shoot different i guess because of the pigment or something.

Never seen createx gum up. I use water to clean up and never had a problem.

is there any trick to shooting flores. and pearls. What is the trick for metal flakes? do you mix them in the clear coat or mix with the paint.

If your using a .2 or .3 needle, turn your airpressure higher for the pearls and base coats . I bought a $20.00 airbrush from harbor frieght with a .5 needle for all of the thicker paints. Water is all I use also to clean my brush .
